Ñandutí Water is a transmedia documentary on water issues of the Triple Frontera region, a contact point between Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina.
The aim is to reflect, record, restore and maintain a collective vision on water, as a meaningful issue to the inhabitants of the region.
The project is developed by the Digital Content Border Network that includes universities and associations from the three countries coordinated by the National University of Misiones (UNaM), Argentina.
Ñandutí is a transmedia project that starts with a website application that allows users to upload selfies videos recorded with the same webcam installed on your computer, or using other devices like mobile phones, video cameras or small-format cameras. The platform establishs the geographical points at which the videos testimonies were recorded. The software allows you to generate a large dynamic and participatory data base with images, stories, ideas, thoughts and biographies, as if “digital milestones” were installed, keeping in each case the personal data of the author.
This portal is complemented by another application using various interactive technologies available in various digital screens -TV, Web, smartphone- enables users to access rich information, participate, comment and discuss related issues.
With the material will be produced series of short videos for television and radio spots.
