Blurring the distinction between fiction and reality: The ‘Four Broken Hearts’ transmedia storyworld

November 1, 2014 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Transgressing the boundaries of the personal and the political, the temporal and the spatial, the real and the virtual, Four Broken Hearts is a hybrid transmedia storyworld encompassing film, live performance, location based experiences and social media that explores the lives and relationships of two Pakistani-American couples in the post-9/11 landscape. The centerpiece of the storyworld is the climatic drama that combines immersive theater, video and live interaction to create an emotionally explosive experience that unflinchingly exposes and tears down the state of love in our politically charged modern world.
